A brief history about video games

Video games were invented not long ago. But the games are much older than you might think. The oldest game is “Tennis for two”. This game was invented by John Higgingbotham in 1958. The video game of that time consisted of a horizontal line on the screen along a perpendicular line to represent the network. The next video game was invented in 1960 with “Spacewar”. The following game was played using the television.

The arcade video game “Computer Space” arrived in the early 1970s. So long and thus new inventions of video games arose. Coming to the present, we find thousands of games. These are readily available. The creators of the games keep improving them from time to time to cope with the current situation.

All games can be downloaded. Therefore, people can play games on their phones and tablets instead of buying video games. The game can have 3-D graphics, realistic movements and exceptional sound quality. The most common video game names are X-Box, Game Cube, PlayStation 2, etc.

Some of the common concerns in this industry are that children are more attracted to these games. Where games increase your mental activity but decrease your physical activity. Some parents even go so far as to blame the manufacturers. Hence, the creators have introduced interactive games. The added dance pads require players to mimic dance movements. Various other technologies are also being adopted to make the system match the age of the player.

The advantages of using video games for children

• Makes children interactive. Those who were always shy could make new friends in virtual media. Often these friendships can be real.

• Minimize stressors if your child suffers from anxiety. This usually happens due to stressful life and too absorbed in daily routine without having time for oneself.

• Increases mental activity. A player has to remain vigilant about all aspects of the ballast game if he will be defeated. Therefore, this in real life increases the alertness and awareness of the person.

• Leads to brain growth with increased mental activity.

• Increase problem solving skills. This happens because the games are full of problems and to win you have to solve the problems.

Thus, to conclude, it can be said that the video game industry has come a long way. It will continue to evolve and change as well as it comes to terms with the needs of modern men.
