My recommendation is to use the Wood element as the predominant element for a feng shui bedroom, as the Wood element creates the feeling of adventure, change, and freshness.
Splashes of the Fire element are good as they inject some yang energy into this room, but not too much as it can cause children trouble sleeping.

Soft green and blue are suitable colors for the bedroom as they are colors of hope and nurture, but I would recommend green as it also symbolizes knowledge.
Using Feng Shui Crystals
You may want to have an amethyst crystal ball on your study table. Amethyst is a well known “intellectual” crystal, which may aid in brain development.
Another good crystal to consider is White Phantom Quartz, which is good for helping the wearer focus well on the task at hand.
Apart from the positive vibes, children can look at the crystals during the rest period to help their eyes relax.
Other Feng Shui Tips
Perhaps the other two important considerations are light intensity and the location of the study table. My personal recommendation is to have the study desk located in the diagonal corner, at the entrance to the bedroom.
That being said, there should be no open windows behind where your child is sitting, as this can make them feel unsafe. Also, the sunbeam coming through the window may be too glaring for your children to learn comfortably.
