Hail the King, the PS3

If you’re looking to buy a video game system, look no further. Although the Xbox 360 has a lot to offer, it is almost completely crushed by its competitor, the PS3. What makes the PlayStation 3 so great?

The first thing that makes the PS3 so amazing is its robust hardware specifications. This thing is a cinematic monster of a system! The PS3 has plenty of space offering 80GB using super fast Serial ATA technology. The processor is a 3.2 GHZ processor that uses 8 synergistic processing elements. Graphics processing is also increased as it uses Nvidia RSX which produces beautiful Full HD games up to 1080P. The PlayStation also uses Bluetooth technology for its accessories, such as controllers and remote controls. Every PS3 also comes equipped with a Blu-ray DVD player that’s decoded all the latest sound codecs to give you up to 7.1 surround sound on select games and movies. The PS3 is also equipped with a wireless Internet interface, as well as a standard Ethernet cable connector.

Although the Nintendo Wii allows gamers to play games online for free, the PlayStation Network is a much more robust service. Sony offers a completely free network that allows users to download game demos, movie trailers, and even entire video games. The best part about PlayStation Network is that if you want to play a game online with someone, it’s completely FREE! Unlike the Xbox 360 monthly subscription, you can open a game on the PS3 and play online in seconds and it doesn’t touch your wallet one bit. This is one of my favorite features of the PS3 because having online capability really brings your games to life.

As you can see, the hardware of this game console is unmatched by its competitors. It is also the only video game console on the market that has a Blu-ray Disc player that plays movies and video games. For a time, the PlayStation 3 was the cheapest Blu-ray player on the market and is still considered one of the best Blu-ray players today. The PS3 supports BD live, which is Blu-ray Disc content that allows you to connect to the Internet. This technology also allows viewers to chat with friends on the Internet while watching selected Blu-ray movies.

The PS3 also supports all of the latest sound codecs so you can play your games in 7.1 surround sound. The sound of the PS3 is absolutely incredible as it can output the sound through optical HDMI or SPDIF ports. Not only will you get a vibrant HD picture, but you’ll get superior HD sound to give you the best gaming experience.
