Have fun traveling
Trip
Very early in life we began to travel. We first traveled from our mother’s womb to the wide and wonderful world we now inhabit. Then we travel home from the hospital, if we were born in a hospital. We travel a lot during the years that we live at home. Go to school. We go with our parents on vacation. We go to camps. We find all kinds of places to go and explore.
When we leave home and start making a life for ourselves, there will be as many or as few trips as necessary. You can only travel to and from work, except during vacations. Or you can find ways to spend every available moment by traveling to one place or another. It really depends on how curious you are about the rest of the world and what people are doing there.
Travel modes
Most of us have a car and we use it a lot. Besides the travel that is necessary, it can be a lot of fun to get in the car and go exploring.
I remember how excited I was when I got my first driver’s license and how upset I was that my dad wouldn’t let me have the family car often. We only had one car and it was hard for me to accept that Mom and Dad might need it when it was so important to me to have it to explore here and there.
I am very lucky that professionally I travel all over the world. It is a true passion of mine. I love exploring the world. Wherever I need to go for work, I always try to rent a car and explore as much of the country and its surroundings as time permits. For me, driving and being in control of where and when to go is the best. Personally, I don’t like tours or being with groups of people that are not of my choosing.
So for me, traveling by car is great and definitely one of my favorite ways of seeing the world and sometimes scaring the natives.
Air travel
Obviously I have to spend a lot of my trip in airports and airplanes. When I became a musician I knew that I would travel a lot. He had colleagues who constantly complained about airports, security, customs, airplanes and so on. From the beginning I decided that since it was going to be a part of my life, it was silly not to enjoy it.
I have found ways to enjoy airports. For example, there is always a bookstore and that will entertain me for a long time. There are also a ton of people who are fun to watch and try to figure out where they are going and why. Then there are the staff members who are usually very friendly and can be of great help.
I love the airplane. There are endless things you can do on the fly these days. Even customs can be interesting if you just look at people and try to figure out who is trying to smuggle something in or out.

Traveling can be one of the best parts of life. If you are willing to make everything fun and interesting, I promise you will have a life full of fun and joy.
