Men’s clothing in India:

Dhoti-Kurta:
A seamless rectangular piece of Dhoti with a stylish Kurta is the most traditional men’s appeal in India. It is the cultural dress of men in the Bengal, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam and Kannada communities.

Sherwani:
Sherwani is a close-fitting coat worn in combination with a churidar or dhoti. The Sherwani designer is often used by men for the purpose of weddings or any festive ceremony. This fashionable dress for men used to be the court uniform of Turkish and Persian origin in the Mughal era.

Informal:
A combination of a T-shirt with jeans gives a stylish look to men of all ages. Simple jeans, although western in origin, are worn casually by teenagers. Today, all young people are looking for brands like Denim, Levis, Pepe, Lee, Wrangler, Armani, etc. to add quality to your shelf.

Formal

Formals are the best option for businessmen. The dress code with a black suit and a contrasting silk tie will make its wearer the main attraction of any gala. Men also wear semi-formal during cocktails and academic gatherings. Raymond, Siyaram’s, Belmonte, etc. are some brands of suits available in shopping complexes around the world.

Women’s clothing in India

Sari:
As is often the case, sari-clad women look like an angel. The seamless long drape is a traditional appeal of West Bengal, Bihar and Orissa women. Salwar kameez:
A common appeal needs no introduction. Whether you are a business woman or a home girl, Salwar-Suit is one of those dresses, which attracts women of all types. The colorful embroidered suit with waving duppatta is mostly subdivided into Anarkali Patiyala, Churidar, Umbrella cut, Cotton, Seamless, Silk and Party wear.

Lehanga Choli:
These days, Lehanaga Choli rules the world of fashion. The wearing of traditional Rajasthan clothing has transcended all boundaries of religion and region. The designer lehnga choli, handcrafted with kundans, beads and zari threads, is highly appreciated by women from national and international places.

Mekhala and Chadar
This traditional costume is unique to Assam, a northeastern state. Assamese women are well equipped with the technique of weaving clothes on a loom. Designed with vertical and horizontal stripes, the Mekhala-Chadar is said to have been adopted from the Tibetan and Burmese wardrobe. Also, Bodo women from Kokrajhar, Darrang, Sonitpur are very fond of wearing the dress code on any cultural occasion.
