Major winner Thomas wins the Players Championship

Major winner Justin Thomas from the USA has won the Players Championship for professional golfers. The 27-year-old from Kentucky played a 68 on the final day at the TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach / Florida and moved up to the top of the leaderboard with 274 strokes. The world number three secured the winner’s check for 2.7 million dollars, the equivalent of around 2.25 million euros, from the “fifth major” of the season endowed with 15 million dollars.
