Nightclub Floor Plans – Great Business Ideas for Your Nightclub

Nightclubs are known for their hot dance floors and trendy bars. When deciding on the floor plans of a nightclub, there are many decisions to be made regarding the location of specific locations within the nightclub itself. There are certain elements that must be included in those plans no matter what type of nightclub is being built.

Nightclubs need a bar area
Nightclubs should have a bar area for customers to enjoy. Plans for a new nightclub should include plenty of space for a bar and seating for bar patrons. The bar should be close to the dance floor so thirsty dancers don’t have to go far to enjoy refreshing alcoholic beverages. This should be taken into account when deciding the location of the bar on the plans.

Nightclubs must have a dance floor
Every nightclub must have a dance floor. Nightclub floor plans must include square footage for the dance floor area. This area should be large enough to host dancers, dance competitions, or any other event that may take place within the nightclub.

Nightclubs need smoking areas
Many of today’s nightclubs do not allow smoking in certain areas, such as on the dance floor. In that case, the floor plans should include a space for smokers to use. Some nightclubs have an outside porch or deck for smokers, while others designate a small space within the club for customers who smoke.

Some clubs have restaurants
Some clubs also have restaurants within their doors. If that’s the case, the nightclub floor plans should include space for a kitchen area, as well as seating for restaurant patrons. The plans must separate the spaces used for the restaurant, the bar and the dance floor.

Nightclub themes
The theme of the nightclub being built will also determine the type of plans needed. For example, a Las Vegas-themed nightclub in Las Vegas might need to have additional square footage in plans to accommodate slot machines or poker tables. An upscale nightclub may want to find floor plans that include private rooms for VIP guests or private parties.

Leasing or building a new club
Depending on whether the nightclub building is being built according to the new plans or using an existing space, the nightclub plans may need to be modified. If the nightclub will be located in a new building, any plan can be followed and built to the correct specifications. If a nightclub is located in a rented space or in an existing building, the floor plans may need to be modified to fit the existing building.

Nightclub plans must meet specific requirements based on the theme of the nightclub and the requirements set by its owner. Different plans suggest different locations for the location of the bar, restaurant, dance floor, and smoking area. Plans will also vary based on square footage needs. There are many options when it comes to planning a new nightclub.
