Oscar night 2021 promises to be a night of records: never before have two women been nominated for best director, Chloé Zhao with “Nomadland” and debut director Emerald Fennell for her rape revenge horror film “Promising Young Woman”. So far only five women have ever been nominated in this category, only Kathryn Bigelow actually won 2010 for “The Hurt Locker”.

The best actor category has never been so diverse: Riz Ahmed (“Sound of Metal”, on Amazon), Steven Yeun (“Minari”) and Chadwick Boseman …
