Scarcity, abundance and the law of attraction

How do scarcity and abundance affect the operation of the Law of Attraction? Am I working from a feeling of lack if I am prudent with money? Am I being cautious or paranoid when Googling all the potential new partners I know? Do I have a great work ethic if I work every spare minute to build a really successful business, or do I only do it because I’m afraid of being bankrupt? When one analyzes the drivers behind a certain behavior, one can soon see if the moderator of the behavior is through scarcity or abundance. I am not suggesting that success cannot be achieved from a place of scarcity; It can be a very powerful motivator, but it will affect how the Law of Attraction works.

I recently received a comment on my blog about the Law of Attraction from a reader who is doing everything she thinks she can, but is not achieving the rewards or desires that she craves. When a person begins to explore a law like the Law of Attraction, this inevitably happens. I passed. I know others who have been through it and I am sure most people have. Like religion, the Law of Attraction is based on blind faith. The crucial difference is that it goes against everything we are socialized to believe in. Deep down in most of us is an ingrained belief that it just CANNOT work. It can’t be THAT simple!

Most of Western society is based on the model that we must work hard to achieve success – well, anything, in fact. Why is that? Perhaps because the system needs cheap labor. Whatever it is, there is a sense of fear built into Western society and this creates the sense of scarcity.

I recently let myself be completely ruined. Yeah, overdrawn on all my bills, late on payments, everything. I had a couple of difficult moments, but in general I never allowed myself to worry about it. I kept saying, “Money is easy to come by. There is a lot of money. I’m good at this. It always works out. I always have enough. Money is my friend,” and so on. Guess what? Someone gave me some money back when they had previously told me that there was absolutely no way they could do it (sure, I had to threaten them with the court, but sometimes people need some encouragement) And they actually gave me more than what they owed me to cover my expenses. waste of time and for a job I did!

Now, I am not totally reckless. I did not lose my home. I worked a few hours here and there (with the good pay that I demanded) and sent fireworks of desire about the type of work and the earnings I wanted in the future. I also sold some things that were cluttering my life anyway. It took me a few months (not to worry or think about it, just visualize the work and returns) and now I can report that I have been offered a contract and I have just sent 2 quotes to people. who approached me for 2 very lucrative contracts doing exactly what I sent my rockets on. I have not commercialized myself at all! I don’t know if I’ll get them, and somehow I don’t care because I know things will work out. Stop Press! Another request for a quote has just come in.

I know if I had been worried about money or desperate for these contracts, I would not have gotten them.

The weirdest side to all of this is that while I have no doubts about my ability to provide the service I am quoting for, I have never done it before for others and I have NO track record. I think I can, I have studied a lot and have tried it on my own projects. Consequently, others seem to believe that I can do it too.

As you can see, it’s about believing. I am not suggesting that you sit with a smile on your face, visualizing this and that and waiting for everything you want to fall into your lap. I suggest that you whole-heartedly believe that you can have whatever you want and that you prepare well for that eventuality.

One big reason the Law of Attraction doesn’t work is because when we feel like we need something, we create a resistance that the universe feels and this keeps us in a kind of limbo. A positive and negative charge that acts with the same force. Scarcity means I am afraid. You can probably feel resistance just from the sound of the word.

To successfully apply the law we only need to ‘be’, believe that everything will be fine and forget about all the things that society has spent our entire life imposing on us. Do the things you want because you want to, NOT because you can afford it. I can report that it is possible, I have been doing it!

Living a life of abundance and using the Law of Attraction to bring the things you want into your life does not mean being stupid or irresponsible. It means being totally sure that everything will work out. It means to be happy. It means the appreciation of all success because that state will bring you more success. It means understanding that we live in an abundant world and that life must be good. It means visualize. It means to meditate and it means to be aware when there is resistance.

We attract what we think about. Why not think of wonderful things for yourself, your family, and everyone else? It requires the same effort as worry. Believe that there is so much for everyone and that you deserve to be happy, and the debate over scarcity or abundance may simply turn into old news.
