Film Awards in Montreal

We’ll stay a little longer by Arash T. Riahi will also win international awards in 2021, after the feature film was Austria’s most successful festival film in 2020 with ten international awards (AFC) last year.

The film recently won at the Montreal International Children’s Film Festival INIS Award – Prize for innovation and originality as well as the Grand Prize of the Children’s Jury.

“The INIS Award, which is given to the feature film in the official competition that best demonstrates innovation and originality, goes to the Austrian film We’ll stay a little longer, for the intensity and the emotions it aroused in us, for the unadorned portrayal of the harsh reality of immigrants. Also because we have discovered and learned a lot, this film deconstructs clichés. The lovable and fascinating character of the little boy was wonderfully highlighted. “(Jury statement INIS Award)

The members of the children’s jury awarded the prize “because of the humanistic approach, the excellent acting and the surprising script.” (La Presse)

We stay a little Due to the Covid restrictions, it can currently only be seen in the KINO VOD CLUB and can be voted for the Austrian Film Prize until April 19.

Cinema release in Vorarlberg

We stay a little longer free based on Monika Helfer’s novel “Oskar and Lilli”, is from FKC Dornbirn on Wednesday, March 24th and on Thursday, 25.3. Respectively 5.30 p.m. in the Cinema Dornbirn shown.

Romy nomination for Anna Fenderl

The Golden Girls Filmproduktion is very happy about two nominations for this year’s Romy Awards, which will take place on May 15th on ORF2.

Luna Jordan, who has already received a nomination at this year’s Max Ophüls Prize film festival for her outstanding portrayal of Samira Spahić in Fox under construction by Arman T. Riahi is in the category “Most popular female offspring” nominated.

Also nominated in the same category Anna Fenderlwho have played in Arash T. Riahi’s latest feature film We’ll stay a little longer made her great acting debut.
