Alternative to Google ADSense

I’m not sure if any of you have heard Joel’s question on May 23 that went like this “Is this the death of AdSense?”

According to me, that is not really alarming when your site is not an MFA (Made for Adsense). From the first day I promoted my first ADSense campaign, I knew that those whose site is not content-driven would be disappointed now or later. Google itself has said that its AD is a “Contextual AD”, which means that it is according to the context or the specific content of your pages.

Those whose site is an MFA and even though their earnings have reached the 5K+ level, Google has sent them a notice to find an alternative as their campaign will be deactivated on June 1st. You can also read Jennifer Slegg’s article where she makes it clear “Why Google decided to end those campaigns whose website is not based on content”.

If you really want an alternative to Google (if it’s not YPN, which only approved US-based websites), you can try Auction Ads at [http://alternate.godadsense.com]. With Auction Ads, while functionally similar to AdSense, it is not in conflict with Google’s TOS.
