Students are satisfied with distance learning

75 percent of 5,000 students surveyed give homeschooling good grades in the Lernsieg survey.

Vienna (OTS / LCG) “The calls for an immediate return to normal operation at Austrian schools seem to be far removed from the real life of the pupils”says Lernsieg founder Benjamin Hadrigan. In February 2021, he surveyed 5,000 students across Austria using the teacher rating app. Exactly 75 percent gave distance learning a “very good” or “good” grade. “This is good testimony to digitization in the education system”, Hadrigan is convinced. He considers politically motivated statements about a “lost generation of education” to be wrong. The Lernsieg survey shows that students of all ages are good at handling digital lessons and are acquiring new skills in homeschooling. Much of what students are currently anticipating will be more relevant for the working world of tomorrow than analog frontal teaching in the classroom, says the entrepreneur.
