Cardio is not the best workout to lose fat. To lose fat, you have to speed up your metabolism and burn fat while you rest. Strength and interval training help you burn fat in the best way.

Here are 7 fat loss tips, one for each day of the week. This is going to be a big week for you, right? With these instructions, you will lose fat and gain a little more muscle if you want to.

monday

Do strength and interval training. Strength training and interval training increase your metabolism after exercise. Something cardio doesn’t do very well at all. That’s why strength and interval training burn fat better.

Have fun with another 30 minutes of activity. Then check your liquid calorie intake. Take note of how much alcohol, juice, soda, and other sweetened beverages you drink each week. Then make plans to reduce your liquid calorie intake. Substitute zero-calorie drinks like green tea or filtered water.

End the week with another strength and interval training session. He might try a new low-glycemic vegetable today, like pumpkin, yams, green beans, or spinach. The more vegetables you eat, the slimmer you will become.

Saturday

Meet a friend for 30 minutes of activity. Then grab a healthy lunch with your friend and swap stories and tips on how to keep up each week. Give each other social support.

Start your day off right early with 30 minutes of activity followed by your planning, shopping, and preparation. Buy extra vegetables at the grocery store, and commit to trying a new source of lean protein.
