How to use a condom: the 7 essential steps to condom use

This is how you can safely use a condom.

1. Checking the expiration date before using. You may have bought a dozen boxes and saved them for future use and forgotten when you bought them. Expired condoms are at risk of breaking due to the wear of the rubber after a long time.

2. It should be stored in a cool and dry place. Heat can significantly reduce the strength of the condom.

3. Be very careful when opening the package. Some men rush through the opening process and it is common for condoms to break. You may want to open the package first before foreplay or actual sex so you don’t have to rush.

4. You should use it only when your penis is fully erect. It’s pretty obvious. Put the condom on the tip of your penis and slowly lower it down. Do not try to put it on a semi-erect penis, as the condom may loosen during intercourse.
