Money and happiness, you can have them both

“Money” is one of those things we can’t seem to live without. You know what I mean “Money” seems to make the world go round. We all remember that old saying that “Money” can’t buy love or “Money” can’t make you “Happy”. Well let me tell you what I know about “Money”. “Money” may not buy love or even make you “happy,” but it sure can set you up with an attitude that is willing to accept that love or “happiness” when it happens.

I must assume that I have your interest now since everyone is interested in “Money”. Yes, “money” makes the world go round because we can’t keep the lights on, or the house payment up to date, or the gas in the car, or the medical bills paid, or the food on the table, or all the other amenities we have. they have gotten used to it. We simply cannot do any of these things without an adequate amount of “Money” to make them happen. Without all of our modern conveniences, including a grocery store on every corner, we’d be stressed out, right? Of course we would.

That makes it seem like “Money” can buy “Happiness”, but in reality it’s not “Money” that buys “Happiness”, it’s the peace of mind that comes from having the bills paid that creates an atmosphere where “Happiness” can happen. Now I just said that “happiness” can happen and that’s what I meant. “Happiness” can happen when other elements are in place to give you room to grow, but that doesn’t mean it will just happen because there is enough “Money” to satisfy all your wants and needs. “Happiness” can happen even in the worst of circumstances. That’s because “Happiness” is a state of mind.

Ooooh, that’s controversial, isn’t it? Maybe I shouldn’t have said “most” people, but instead should have said “a lot”, yeah that makes a bit more sense doesn’t it?

If we are only looking at the things that “Money” can buy to make us “Happy”, then we are probably not looking for “Happiness” at all, we are looking for the momentary “Pleasure” that things can provide, and that can be very fleeting. . “Pleasure” is a totally different emotion and depends on external components to make it happen. “Happiness” on the other hand comes from within and depends on the individual’s interpretation of the events that affect her life. In other words, “happiness” is a state of mind, an attitude, and cannot be invented. It is what it is and should be everyone’s goal.

Not everyone in our nation has access to adequate amounts of “Money” to help them create “Happiness”, but each of us has the ability to adjust our own attitudes to accept “Happiness” in our lives. It all depends on our perspective and that can be changed to suit the need. Along with that, each of us has the “Opportunity” to change our “Financial” circumstances to create the peace of mind that sustains “Happiness”. “Opportunities” include taking a full-time job or a second job to provide “extra income” or working a part-time job to earn extra “money” to make ends meet. Other “opportunities” that are available are “online home based businesses” that can help make “extra money” or even “replace an income” when selected correctly.
