Assembling your cleaning business portfolio

If you are already trying to build your cleaning business portfolio, this already means that you are very close to starting your home cleaning business.

What you put in your portfolio will be how your client evaluates your skills and experience as a cleaner. So it will include photographs, some brochures, flyers, flyers, some letters of recommendation, and some testimonials from your past clients and, if applicable, some newspaper clippings presenting you as a cleaner or your newly formed company. But then the next question is, if you are a new cleaner and starting your cleaning business is not yet complete, how can you get them?

Gathering materials for your portfolio can be a dilemma if you don’t know what to do. Here are some tips on how to get hold of these products even if you’re just starting out as a cleaner.

Photographs

What you need are photographs of your work. Therefore, it does not mean that it has to be a client’s home. The important thing is that it is proof of your work. So you can clean your own house and take some snapshots. You can also ask your close friends and family if you can clean their houses, in exchange for permission to take photos of the areas or rooms you served and include them in your portfolio. The good news about this strategy is that friends and family are very willing to help you when you start your new business. If there is anything they can do for your cleaning business, startup stuff and all, they will definitely be happy to do it.

In fact, you can even point out to your clients who are viewing your portfolio that a particular photograph is from your own home, where you believe certain products are better for cleaning certain things. This is actually cleaning up business marketing too. If you believe in your own products and services, if it is good enough for your own home, people will also have more faith in your services.

Testimonials

Another cleaning business marketing strategy is to have testimonials or letters of recommendation from clients or those to whom you have provided cleaning services. As with photos, you can clean the houses of your friends and family in exchange for an honest testimonial. These are customer reviews, on paper. Later, you can add new ones from paying customers.

Well, the home cleaning business is also a growing trend business. So keep your portfolio up to date with workshop and seminar certificates as well.
