Be Likeable And Controversial – Write Your Way To Success

Millions of new websites, blogs and businesses are created every year. The world is changing at such a speed that hardly anyone can keep up with everything. There are so many solutions to whatever problem you have, that standing out from the crowd is slowly becoming the only way to grow your business.

Being a ‘Businessman Reborn’, I live a life that people can only dream of. Showing this dream, just like James Brausch does, is a way of building fans: he’s creating a nice image of himself, being a laid-back kind of entrepreneur. People like what he has achieved and therefore James became a success.

But what if you don’t like to brag or have nothing to brag about? Then you can go down the controversial path. The so-called ‘guru attack’ was once very controversial and those who started it built up quite a following because others could relate to them. A good example of this is the person named Sam Freedom.

writing your way to success

Writing, or so-called copywriting, is a successful skill. This single skill can do just about anything for you, including selling products, attracting people to work for you, and building a loyal fan base. Master the art of words and you will succeed. And here is that ingredient that many people miss:

Others should be able to relate to you. By adding your personal story and touch to your writing, people will immediately ‘see’ that you are one of them. You had the same problems and now you conquered them. That is the way to attract people to you. All those rewritten articles, facts, short informative or promotional blog posts will get you nowhere unless they can relate to you.

What if you don’t like to write?

If you don’t like to write or think you just can’t, there are many solutions to your problem. But first this: simply because you can’t write perfect English, people can also relate to you. Mike Filsaime always has typos on everything, some people love him for it. I’m not an English wonder either, but I just do my best.

When you don’t want to type, consider one of the following:

-Record your sales presentations, articles and ideas in Audio and promote them as ‘Podcasts’.

-Use a couple of sheets and your voice to create a Video. (Video marketing is really effective!)

-Get a ghostwriter to do most of the work for you, while you just add your personal touch to their work.

-Hire a Virtual Assistant to do the work of the ghost writer, teaching him to use your personality.

-Get several apprentices and let them write things for you. Let them know about copywriting in return for their efforts.

How to make your writing stand out

As a writer, you need an audience, a specific audience actually: one that is more likely to be interested in your stuff. By thinking about who you want to reach, you’ll quickly get ideas on how to reach them. For some, it might be commenting on blogs, posting on forums, and submitting articles; for others, it might be social bookmarking, web 2.0 communities, or email groups for people with the same hobby as you.

Post something interesting to attract them to your writing. Don’t post them directly as people will see it as spam. Instead, provoke and encourage them to visit your site and read what you have to share.

How a ‘Born Entrepreneur’ Creates Fans

The ‘Born Entrepreneur’ builds his fan base simply by being who he is. In general, it is a bit controversial. But what really makes it stand out is that it ‘does what it says on the tin’ and others see it. I myself write reports on starting successful businesses. I train, train and advise people to achieve their goals when starting a business.

What makes me stand out is that I start numerous businesses each year. I show my clients the ideas I have and tell them all about how I prepare and start the business, then launch the product and make it a success. Practice what you preach and you will be ahead of 99% of everyone else in your market.
