How difficult is it to put together this sofa?
Burrow Couch assembly requires no tools and takes 10-15 minutes to set up. The fully customizable sofa legs screw into the base while the seats are attached. From someone who has had his share of the Ikea assembly crises, Burrow was even simpler to assemble than I expected.

What customization capabilities does my sofa come with?
The Burrow sofa comes with a choice of low or high arms and in 5 color options. I got the low arm option and it is the perfect height for me. For this review I choose the low arms and would choose them again. You can also choose between 5 colors. Colors are beige, brick red, crushed gravel, navy blue, and charcoal. As you can see in the photos, we have ours in Brick Red.
The ottoman is a highly recommended complement to any sofa. This is a newer option available from Burrow and costs $ 295. The ottoman is very easy to assemble. You literally just line up the legs with the drilled holes and tighten the easy-to-twist screws. Add the Burrow Ottoman to any Burrow Couch and stretch out or use it as a separate seat when you have visitors. The ottoman is oversized at 25 inches by 25 inches. The cushion is double-sided like the sofa, so you can flip it over to change the look.
What’s inside the sofa cushions?
All Burrow sofas are safe and environmentally friendly. The wood used is of sustainable origin, the fabric does not contain harmful chemicals. The boxes used in shipping are even made from recycled materials.

Burrow’s cover is lavish and luxurious. The cover is the most durable of all the sofas I have ever owned. Living with a 75 pound dog, no sofa has lasted as long as my Burrow sofa. As you can see from close-ups, the cover is thick and sturdy while still being sleek and stylish. The sofa cover is stain resistant out of the box, so you don’t have to worry about treating it or spoiling it if you spill something.
What is the weight limit on my Burrow sofa?
Each seating module has a weight capacity of 200 pounds, so a Burrow 3-seater sofa would have a maximum weight of 600 pounds. This may not sound like much, but I have had guests of all sizes huddled on the couch over the course of this review and it has held up very well.
Is the Burrow sofa available on display if I want to see it before ordering?
Yes! Both the fabric capes and the Italian leather sofa are available in the Burrow showroom at our SoHo store in New York City. If you are ever in the area, there is a sofa waiting for you to lie back and relax.

I updated this review after 2 consecutive years of use and abuse. I’m still obsessed with him today as I was when he arrived. Literally everyone congratulates him when they enter the house. The versatility of this sofa gives me furniture options for years to come. Burrow has been the most durable sofa I have ever owned. Quality materials are made to last. Getting around in the city has never been easier. The modern and sexy look of this sofa reminds me of something you’d find at high-end stores like Crate and Barrel or West Elm for 3 times the price. If you are looking for a new sofa on the market, get something that can accommodate your changing lifestyle, whether you need a chair, loveseat, or daybed.
