Chronicles of Madness – Episode 3
In this, our third episode of Madness Chronicles, let’s remember that insanity is a state of mental illness, especially severe, extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at our world this week.
According to our illustrious Department of Homeland Security, the biggest threats we face are local terrorists and climate change. However, a Saudi Air Force officer training at our Naval Base in Pensacola opened fire. US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said: “I can’t say it’s terrorism right now.” He pointed out that we will have to let the investigation take place. Immediately after the attack that killed three people, the Saudi government issued a statement indicating that Iran is behind many terrorist attacks. Our denial is exceptionally foolish behavior. However, we keep it.
The Saudis involved, ten have been arrested, had a party the night before the shooting. They watched movies of Jihad attacks. Three others filmed the shootings as they happened. But our country’s defense chief is not yet ready to call it terrorism. My God, we haven’t learned anything from 9-11. They say that insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Insanity is a mental illness that is insanity.
In the ‘beware First Amendment’ news, following the killings by the Saudis in Pensacola, Fox Newsman Pete Hegseth was banned from Twitter for tweeting that ‘Islamic terror’ regarding the attacks. What is happening in the United States is crazy. Our rights are being violated, and most people are more concerned about the fake ‘climate crisis’ than the fact that a coup is taking place right before our eyes.
Speaking of ‘fake Americans,’ Los Angeles is spending $1 billion a year on the homeless, and they’re still filling the city’s streets. Los Angeles is a sanctuary city that invites everyone to come. The acting deputy secretary of the Department of Homeland Security recently said, “We have a problem with sanctuary cities that house so many of these violent and vicious criminals, literally taking refuge from ICE and the opportunity to deport them and get them out of these communities and our country.” He explained that he was referring to MS-13 gang members from Mexico.
On the other shore, under Governor Cuomo’s maddening leadership, New York State will become the 13th state in the union to allow illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses. Despite warnings from county officials across the Empire State, they are not equipped to handle the anticipated onslaught. They will offer free care for children of illegal immigrants who attend a workshop to help them navigate the licensing process. More than half a million undocumented immigrants are expected to qualify, and all they need is an expired passport, consular ID or license from their country of citizenship. What country! What a stupid thing.
In other madness, the Washington Post is reporting that the city of Evanston, Illinois recently voted to place a 3% tax on all marijuana sold in the city. The money generated will be used to establish a “reparations fund” for all black residents. There is no discrimination there but there is a lot of madness.
