Davide Longo: lonely men in a world of stones

Lhe mountain has always been there. Men are just passing through. Some live near it, in the valley. Others leave to go and see if the grass is greener elsewhere. Others still only hide there for a while, while waiting to climb it to cross it illegally to the other side: to France.

Cesare is one of those men who lives in the valley. A long time ago, with his family, he crossed over to the other side. He lived and worked in Marseille. He was in prison there too, considered an anarchist for the fault of a simple book that an old friend had given him.
