Difference Between 75 Ball Bingo and 90 Ball Bingo

Bingo is a game played and enjoyed by a large number of people all over the world. It is a game of random selection of numbers saved in the hopper. The balls are regulated manually or electronically. Each of these has a unique number that must match the numbers that are inscribed on the tickets or cards that must be taken. The person who completes the card with all or the most matches is the winner.

There are two popular variations of this game. One is 75 ball bingo and the other is 90 ball bingo game. The game of 75 ball bingo is played in the US and 90 ball bingo is played primarily in the UK and parts of Australia, Asia and Europe.

The main difference between the two ball bingos is the way the numbers are arranged on the cards.

In 75 ball bingo, there is a single card for each game with 24 numbers. The word bingo is written across the top of the cards and the 5 rows represent the letters of the word. In this version you have the possibility of playing with a number of cards but each one being unique can be repeated several times. There are 5 rows and 5 columns on each card. The player has to achieve different patterns during the course of the game. Every time a game starts, the computer announces the patterns.

However, in the 90-ball game you have to buy tickets that come in strips, with 6 tickets in each strip. The numbers 1 to 90 are being arranged in a grid containing 3 rows and 3 columns. Each row is inscribed with 5 numbers and the rest of the square must be left empty. You will get 15 numbers on each ticket. The ticket you buy will have numbers from 1 to 90 in varying order. For each game, you will be able to play on any number of tickets between 1 and 6. If you have a strip, you can mark any number that the computer has called, thus giving you a chance to finish a winning pattern.

The prizes offered for 90 ball bingo are of three types: one for achieving a single row, then for achieving two rows, and finally for the full house. So the added bonus here compared to 75 ball bingo is that more people get a chance to win multiple times on the same game.
