Does a man’s age help determine the sex of his baby?

Recently, I received correspondence asking about a topic that I had not been asked about before. The writer wanted to know if the father’s age had something to do with whether he helped conceive a boy or a girl. Specifically, I wanted to know how a man’s age affects the gender of his baby. I did some research on this topic and will share my findings in the next article.

Does a man’s sperm change with age ?: There is a lot of literature and information that indicates that a woman’s fertility and egg quality change and deteriorate as she ages. This is probably where the “my biological clock is ticking” phase comes from. Only recently have similar studies been done on the quality of a man’s sperm as he ages.

There have been studies that indicate that, like a woman’s egg, the quality of a man’s sperm declines as he ages. In other words, like women, older men are more likely to have fertility problems and genetic problems. However, I couldn’t find any studies that tested whether the ratio of X and Y sperm chromosomes changed with age. I suspect the reason for this is that it is not supposed to. And, if a man’s X to Y ratio does not change with his age, then his chances of conceiving a boy or a girl will not change unless the mother of his child has a better chance of conceiving a girl or a boy in time function. Vaginal PH, and the sexual positions used.

Now, tests have been done to see if men who had produced only one gender over another produced more sperm with that particular chromosome. In other words, they wanted to know if men who produced only girls also produced more X or girl sperm chromosomes. And, the next question was whether men who had children produced more Y sperm chromosomes or did boys produce more chromosomes. The researchers who studied this got hints that the ratio remained constant. The men in the study still had roughly equal numbers of X and Y chromosomes, and this was true whether the men had sons or daughters.

Assuming that this proportion does not change with age, both older and younger men would have the same chances of conceiving a boy or a girl, which are the odds that Mother Nature gives us.

So what do I do if I am trying to conceive a certain gender with an older or younger man ?: In this case, the person who contacted me was trying to conceive with an older man. But the issue of the baby’s age and sex could also come up with a younger man. From what I have read, it is my opinion that the literature indicates that men’s X and Y chromosomes are believed to be the same and there is no reason to think that this changes with age.

So, knowing this, you are left in control of what you can, which is yourself. What the future mother or the woman in this situation is able to control is the moment and the sexual positions that she uses and her vaginal PH. Earlier timing, acid PH, and shallow position favor girls. And the opposite favors baby boys. So depending on the gender you want, you can come up with a regimen that creates the optimal environment for this to happen.
