Home Business – What Can Dora the Explorer Teach You?

As a mother of two young children, I have watched more children’s television shows than my share. However, one of my favorites has to be “Dora the Explorer”. Dora teaches children how to count and say words in Spanish, about patterns and combinations, and many other things. Interestingly, the “Dora the Explorer” program can also teach adults a lot about home business. I will illustrate this by discussing the three main characters.

DORA – Dora has a lot of great features, but her sense of adventure is what impresses me the most. He has explored more places and done more than anyone could imagine. Although difficult situations arise from time to time, do not let fear control your life. You have faith in your abilities, no matter what challenges come your way. He sets goals and uses “Map” to plan his trip. Then he sees things from start to finish and doesn’t give up until he achieves his goal. In this way, she is also an amazing leader to her friend, Boots.

Whether you are looking for a business idea, starting a new business, or already running your own business, adventure is involved. It can be exciting and scary at the same time. It may feel like you are exploring an unknown land. As a result, you will come across challenging situations and you will even be scared at times. But whether you succeed or fail will depend on whether you let these situations control you or take them instead. Also, being able to overcome your fears will allow you to achieve things that you never thought possible. And once you overcome the challenges and fears, you will find yourself on many journeys. As the saying goes, life is a journey and not a destination. For me, this means that life ceases to have meaning when you feel that you have “arrived.” Business is about learning and growing. To grow, you must be able to set goals to know what you want to achieve with your business. This will allow you to assess whether you are making progress or not. You also need to be an effective leader for others who work with you. They all want to work towards a common goal.

BOOTS – It is the faithful companion of Dora. It is also her support team and provides information to Dora about the situations. He does not complain about the task ahead. Share a common goal and vision with Dora.

In business, you want to find someone who is there for you every step of the way. You want someone who is willing to go the extra mile with you, even in tough times. You want that person to pick you up instead of dragging you down. Therefore, it is important to partner with like-minded people who share common interests and goals. For example, there is no point in seeking advice from someone who is not where you want to be in life.

SWIPER – is the mischievous fox who is always trying to prevent Dora and Boots from reaching their goals. Swiper is cunning. He sneaks up when they least expect him and tries to spoil their plans.

Swiper represents all the things that can go wrong when you own your own business. Many people give up and never realize their goals and dreams. That’s because there are naughty people, who are like Swiper the Fox, who get in the way. They want to see you fail and they will say and do anything to prevent you from succeeding. It’s known as the “crab-in-the-bucket mentality.” A crab is trying to get out of the bucket, and all the other crabs in that same bucket keep pulling that crab down. In addition to mischievous people, you will also come across challenging situations that happen when you least expect them. However, the difference between success and failure is how you deal with all these people and the situations that arise.

In short, Dora, Boots, and Swiper can teach adults a lot about home business. So the next time your kids ask you to sit down with them to watch a TV show, do it. You never know what other business tips you might learn!
