Induction Cooking Lids – Why Switch to Induction Cooking?

The application of induction technology and the manufacture of induction cooktops brings these attractive appliances to both home and restaurant kitchens. All cooks can have safe and efficient electrical energy for their work.

  • Why use induction? — The electromagnetic, that is, the induction cooking method is based on the fact heat energy is generated when the electronic coil embedded in the ceramic hob of your induction cooker is turned on Y the ferrous metal pot placed on the cooking surface. When the pot is removed or the power is turned off, everybody heat generation stops. Note any non-ferrous object, perhaps a plastic container, a cloth or your hand, comes into contact with the cooking area, no heating will occur even if the element is on. In short, this is the method of induction. Therein lies the reason for the safety of this form of food preparation.
  • The energy efficiency is very impressive. — at 90% it exceeds the 40-65% efficiency rating of all other stoves (wood, gas, propane, halogen or the well-known electric drive elements).
  • More about security — induction cooktops heat only the bottom of the pot and the food in the pot, adjacent areas do not get hot enough to burn a cook, a child, or a disabled person. Closed, cold induction elements cannot cause a kitchen fire. (Kitchen fires are the cause of many accidents, including deaths.)
  • temperature controls — Rotary knobs or touch pads adjust highly responsive variable heat settings from low heat to full boil or to keep food warm.
  • Care and maintenance — a simple wipe with a soft, damp cloth on the ceramic glass surface, or the use of a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary, is enough to keep the cooktop shiny.
  • Kids — teaching cooking is much easier when the stove can’t burn the little learner. Remember that supervision with hot pots is of course still necessary.
  • no extra heat — the kitchen equipped with an induction cooker is a substantially cooler area since the hob itself does not heat up, in fact the elements do not generate none hot after utensils have been removed from the circled cooking area.

Well-made induction cooktops from reputable companies are safe, efficient, clean and even attractive, and learning how to use them is similar to using kitchen appliances you already know, one difference: they cook food faster.
