Melt In Your Mouth Ham

Ingredients:

1-10 pounds raw ham (make sure it’s not precooked)

1 small jar

12 oz Coke

1 large cooking bag

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 250°. Unwrap the ham and place wrappers all over the top and sides of the ham. Place the ham in the cooking bag and pour the can of coke over the ham. Tie the cooking bag and place it in the pan, cut a couple of small slits in the top of the cooking bag so the steam can escape and if it doesn’t the bag will burst. Place the pan in the oven and cook for 8 hours.

This is the most tender ham you have ever eaten and leftovers if you have any make great ham sandwiches the next day.

Another good way to cook a ham is with a large crock pot. The ham, naturally, will need to be about five pounds of ham. Unwrap the ham and place the cloves on the sides and top of the ham. Place the ham in the crock pot and pour the can of coke on top; cover and cook over low heat for 6 hours.

If you don’t want this as a main dish, cut the ham into about 1-inch pieces and serve as an appetizer with toothpicks and crackers and dip in a pineapple sauce.

You can’t go wrong cooking a ham this way.
