You can simply apply a few drops directly to the affected area and rub it in gently, or you can dilute it with olive oil before applying it to your toenail.
Remedy #2: Lavender Oil and Tea Tree Oil
Combine equal parts lavender and tea tree oil on a cotton ball. Lightly apply it to the affected toenail 2-3 times a day. Lavender oil helps fight infection and skin irritation, while tea tree oil is a natural antibiotic.
Remedy #3: Cayenne Pepper
Cayenne pepper is one of many interesting home remedies for nail fungus that really work. The first thing to do is thoroughly clean the affected area and make sure it is dry. Mix 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper with 3 ounces of water until thick enough to spread on the fungal toenail like an ordinary paste. When the toenail is covered in paste, cover it by carefully putting on socks. Do this until the fungus is gone.
