Network Marketing – Online Marketing Vs Offline Marketing

What do you think are the main differences between building an online network marketing business and an offline network marketing business? I think the combination of the internet and the network marketing business model is a perfect match.

Now, to the outgoing or outgoing person who feeds off other people’s energy, the internet can seem like a cold and lonely place. However, for the introverted person, or more reserved person, like me, the Internet is an indispensable tool.

Belly to Belly Marketing

Here are some of the advantages of meeting face to face:

1. Feel the energy of those you are talking to
2. Link faster: create synergy within your group
3. Fast-paced teamwork with home and hotel meetings
4. Nonverbal communication can give you clues to better help your prospect
5. You may be able to build businesses faster: massive boost
6. Feed off other people’s enthusiasm and energy
7. Importance of Social Proof: Seeing Other People at Local Meetups
8. Pass out tools: DVD, CD, flipchart

internet marketing

Here are some of the advantages of building online:

1. Unlimited access to the world.
2. Use your creativity to provide value and attract people to you.
3. Inbound marketing at its best and it works 24/7.
4. Take time to gather thoughts during conversations.
5. Work alone, but you can choose to talk on the phone.
6. Company meetings are essential to create a sense of team
7. Find a partner to be accountable to
8. Tremendous tools available on the internet: webinars, conference calls, Skype, training systems, presentations

building relationships

Network marketing is definitely a business relationship. People build relationships every day over the phone and online. I know for a fact that I would not be in this industry without the Internet. As much as I believe in the overall business model, I would struggle every day trying to figure out who to talk to after inviting my friends and family to explore my business.

The Internet allows me the opportunity to share myself with millions of people around the world. People are filtered through the ‘get to know me’ process and I talk to the people who want to talk to me. I do well after someone raises their hand and tells me they are interested in making changes in their life.

All the world is different. That’s what makes this world such an exciting and infuriating place. The Internet gives everyone another option. I know some people have done very well face to face. And I know others who have done very well working on their online business. For most, I think a balance between the two would work just fine.
