Nokia 7380 – A toast to the fashion elite…

One of three phones in the L’Armor collection, the Nokia 7380, poses like a true wonder in the fashion market. The phone is designed to highlight the contrast between various cultural and ethnic influences. Therefore, unconventional materials ranging from amber, ceramic, turquoise, silk to enamel are used to give the Nokia 7380 a distinctive look. In addition, craft techniques such as engraving and enameling were used to add a touch of creativity to the whole.

“Every detail of these products, from the nature-inspired graphics to the velvet-lined cases, has been carefully considered with the style-conscious individual in mind,” said Alastair Curtis, Vice President of Design, Mobile Phones at Nokia, in a press release. Shaped like a tube of lipstick, the Nokia 7380 it’s compact, stylish and looks like an ipod at first glance. There is no full keyboard like you find on conventional phones, instead the Nokia 7380 is equipped with an iPod-like scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is great when it comes to navigating through 40 menu segments, but it poses a problem when you want to send messages. The camera is upgraded to 2 megapixels, with a leather back cover. Plus, there’s a user interface and 52MB of onboard memory to store a pretty decent amount of images.
