Social Media Marketing in Attitude and Quality

The mechanics of social media marketing go beyond promotions, campaigns, and potential return on investment. In a basic sense, there is both the mechanical part and the personal part in social media marketing to have a more or less productive result. While many are falsely led to think it’s all about numbers, it’s more likely someone else. This factor can be called the quality and attitude of linked users.

In politics, radio, or even television, advertising or campaigning for a brand or personal name is about being able to reach through the hearts and minds of viewers. Social media marketing works in much the same way, so if your post doesn’t grab viewers’ initial attention, they may not subscribe.

Once that happens, you can be pretty sure there will be no more follow-up visits from that person. Getting the initial attention on a positive side is the first priority in social media marketing. Once you get it, that person becomes the start of a potential marketing referrer for your campaign.

After the initial perception comes the attitude of the viewer. As much as possible, it should be on the better side as it would lead to more returns and a higher chance of establishing the person as a mainstay in your customer base. You would definitely want several or many of these people who are your so-called “loyal” or “fans”.

Still, one should not be too complacent about an early and successful start. The mood and sense of success of your so-called “fans” can be influenced by a competitor’s brand or thought, distracting information from a bad person, or just plain boredom.

For a long and lasting fan base for subscribers, it is good to keep their interest by continually providing good content. Additionally, the content of each post should be relevant and highly interactive. Participate in the discussion if possible. Knowing the ins and outs of subscribers’ thoughts keeps a healthy social network. Since social media marketing is all about user interaction, it is also better to be present in the discussion group.

ROI is also influenced by the quality of links from subscribed users. Think of it this way: the president of a company that has thousands of incompetent and non-working employees would risk the company collapsing or going bankrupt due to lack of productivity. In social media marketing, he may have countless followers and subscribers, but if you are not careful in examining them, most likely many are spam or duplicate accounts.

Start with a few but highly managed links with good or great relationships and go from there. The better the quality of the links, the more active and powerful they become, becoming secondary advertisers through the links and referrals from their own network.
