It can also be called the employment of children in any industry or business, especially when it is illegal or considered exploitation.

Children are completely deprived of their right to attend regular school and receive a proper education that can disrupt their future. Main causes of child labor
1. Poverty and overpopulation: these two go hand in hand. In my underdeveloped or developing countries, people in rural areas have more children who they think will grow up and become a source of income. However, when the family’s sole source of income is not sufficient for the growing needs of the children, the family has no choice but to send their children to work to earn extra money.
2. Illiteracy: The lack of education among the poor members of society makes them not understand the importance of primary education and the benefits that education has for the future of a child. Being illiterate, they are also unaware of the social, physical and psychological trauma that labor has on their children.
3. In many developed nations, large multinational companies hire children to work in textile factories. They can force children to work as long as they want and they don’t have to worry about them striking or forming unions like those children, who are illiterate and ignorant of their rights. there are more hands to work and fewer mouths to feed. Disregarding their rights, children are paid much less, but they cannot retaliate.
4. Government Apathy: Although there are strict laws on opposition to child labor, these laws are rarely strictly implied and are not enforced as they should. The lack of interest and apathy of the government is solely responsible for the torture that these children must suffer every day.
5. Families migrating from rural to urban areas often have less to survive and with diminishing day-to-day work opportunities, children often have to bear the burden of supporting their families while the adults remain. unemployed.
How to solve the problems caused by child labor
The government must take very strict measures to ensure that all implemented child labor laws are strictly followed and appropriate punishments are applied in case these laws are violated.
All children should receive free primary education and workshops should be held to teach families the negative impacts of child labor on their children’s lives, as well as the importance of education.
Poor families must have enough cash with which they can survive until they get a job. Children should also receive cash for school uniforms, books, and other necessary supplies.
To prevent other countries from hiring children, trade sanctions must be imposed and there must be consumer boycotts of food, machinery and all kinds of imports.
