Grigori Rasputin is considered by some to be one of the most evil men that ever lived. He is at the height of Hitler, Stalin, Caligula and Torquemada. This Siberian-born peasant went on to lead a life full of mysticism, excess, politics, visions, and evil. Stories and tales about him abound: some are true, some are not. Thus, the penis was returned to him and remained in his care until his death in 1977.
After his death, a large quantity of Rasputin’s belongings were put up for sale from his estate. The penis was bought but it was not what was believed. It actually turned out to be a marine animal called a sea cucumber. No one knows for sure if this was the originally perceived penis that Russian women adored or if it had been replaced at some point.
But it gets even more interesting … In 2004, a medical scientist opened an erotic museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia. One of the exhibits (along with some of Rasputin’s personal belongings and letters) is a preserved 12-inch flaccid penis that he claimed was Rasputin’s. The penis was purchased from a French antiquarian and is believed to be “The Real McCoy”.
The museum curator claims that if a man only looks at the severed and preserved penis, he will cure all forms of impotence …
Thus, the mystery of Rasputin’s penis lives on.
