The secret to manifest

If you only learn one thing about manifestation, understand how important it is to visualize your goals.

IF YOU CAN’T SEE IT IN YOUR MIND, YOU CAN’T REALIZE IT IN YOUR LIFE.

When something is held in our conscious mind, we make more effort to look for it and sixteen opportunities as they occur. There are a number of terms for this, one that is often used is self-fulfilling prophecy. A self-fulfilling prophecy is an event that you cause yourself. This term tends to have a negative connotation. An example of this: “I worry about money, so I feel bad. To feel better I go shopping and put it on my credit card. I don’t worry about it, but then I feel even worse when the bill comes.” the next month, and I realize that now I have even more money problems.

People with body or weight problems can create a similar effect. “I feel bad about my body, so I eat to be comfortable. Then I feel even worse when I look in the mirror.”

There can be a silver lining to self-fulfilling prophecies and this is where positive thinking comes into play. If I have a goal of running a marathon, I first need to believe that I can do it. I don’t think I can, but I know I can. I visualize myself crossing the finish line. I can imagine how much my muscles ache, but how good I feel and what an achievement it is. I’m tired, I’m sweaty, I’m in pain, and yet I feel like I can conquer anything. I visualize every little detail: smells, sensations, sights, sounds, even tastes. Now that I’ve created my result, I work backwards to plan it, and then start all over again.

The same is true for any goal; From writing a book to graduating medical school to losing 10 pounds.

INSTEAD OF THINKING YOU CAN DO SOMETHING, YOU NEED TO KNOW YOU CAN DO IT.

I know that 2+2=4. I don’t think so Thinking implies that you have a little (whether conscious or not) of doubt. If you have to think about something, it means that there are negative and positive things to consider. You don’t have to consider anything when you know it.

So you set your goal and believe 100% that you can achieve it. Now see what you have to do to get there. Create a plan for success, one step at a time.

Creating the life you want is a matter of knowing how you ultimately want your life to be, and then setting your goals accordingly. Sometimes life throws up obstacles, but it’s just a matter of pulling out the map and creating a detour.

It’s never too late to take a step back and look at where you are in your life, compared to where you want to be. Not everyone can do this on their own. Some need support and the occasional nudge from another person who wants them to succeed.

“It’s never too late to be what you could have been.” George Eliot.
