Weather: showers, gusts of wind and even snow

The northwesterly wind will be moderate to at times quite strong on Monday with gusts of 50 to 60 km / h.

Lhe week will start with unstable weather, alternating between showers, sleet and gusts of wind. The weather will be very cool with temperatures that will not exceed 4 degrees in the highlands of the Ardennes and 9 degrees in Flanders, forecasts the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) on Monday.

A zone of precipitation will leave our country by the south-east in the morning. Some snowfall or melting snow may still temporarily occur in the Ardennes above 400 to 500 m. The weather will then become drier from the northwest with clearings, but some showers will develop in places. The maximums will be between 4 degrees in the highlands of the Ardennes and 9 degrees in Flanders. The northwesterly wind will be moderate to at times quite strong with gusts of 50 to 60 km / h. A few showers may still occur this evening and early next night.

Afterwards, the weather will become generally dry again with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will drop to between 0 degrees in the highlands of the Ardennes and 5 degrees by the sea. The wind will generally remain moderate from the north-west.

The rest of the week promises to be very cool and sometimes windy with at times rain or sleet. Snow is also expected in the Ardennes.
