Why boutique hotels are becoming the preferred choice of all travelers?

Tourism is one of the largest industries worldwide with millions of tourists traveling to various parts of the world every month, whether for personal or business reasons, and the numbers are increasing almost every day.

Of course, the biggest beneficiaries of the tourism industry are the hotels that host these millions of tourists, and therefore more and more hotels are springing up every day, from luxury hotels, super luxury hotels to budget hotels and guest houses. But the latest buzzword seems to be that of a boutique hotel. Many of the tourists now prefer to stay in something called Boutique Hotel.

So what is a boutique hotel and why is it becoming so popular with tourists no matter what part of the world they are visiting?

The boutique hotel concept originated in North America to suggest an intimate and luxurious hotel environment. The characteristic that differentiates boutique hotels from other conventional hotels is personalized service: personalized accommodation and facilities for each guest. All Boutique hotels are generally created on a theme that runs through all rooms and service centers of the hotel. Also, boutique hotels are generally considered to be much more elegant than their competitors, as most of them usually hire the services of a specialized interior designer to develop and execute a unique theme for the hotel.

All rooms, restaurants, lounges, etc. of the hotel are carefully planned and built according to the designer’s vision.

A typical room in a boutique hotel, in addition to having a good balance between style and luxury, will have at least one queen-size bed, telephone connection, wi-fi internet connection that is generally free for hotel guests to use, cable TV, cable, a mini bar and 24-hour room service. Most boutique hotels will also have an excellent restaurant serving a variety of cuisines and also have a lounge or bar on their premises where guests can take a break and relax and mingle with other guests. Usually the lounge or bar is also open to the general public.

A boutique hotel is generally smaller than a conventional luxury hotel; larger boutique hotels have a maximum of about a hundred rooms, while smaller ones can have fewer than five rooms.

In general, the majority of visitors to a boutique hotel are business travelers, which ensures repeat business for the hotel. But recent trends have shown that a large number of tourists in general prefer to stay in these boutique hotels due to the great combination of luxury, privacy and personalized service that these hotels offer to their guests, which differentiates them from other hotels, whether they are luxury or budget hotel.

The staff of these hotels are very friendly and courteous and have been trained to attend to all the requests of their guests. Although the number of people working might be less compared to a large group of luxury hotels, most guests report a greater sense of personalized service, which is one of the main reasons why a boutique hotel has begun to be so popular with all kinds of guests, whether they are there on vacation or for business purposes.
