How to write a song that makes sense

In the world of music, if you already have a lot of money, you can write any type of song in any way. You can use your money to market the song, to make up for any missing writing talents. It may not be a standard, or what some call a classic, but the song may have some short-term success.

Now if you don’t have the money and want to know how to write a real song, this is the article for you.

This article is about the mechanics of writing a song. I have chosen one of my favorite songs as an example in this article. I wrote it a long time ago, but I still think it’s a good song today. Although I think it is a very good song, some may think that the essence of the song might need some work (in the creative field, we all have our own points of view, tastes and opinions). structure in the art of songwriting.

Well, first of all, when writing a song, one has to choose which song pattern to use. Some song patterns are better suited to certain songs than others. I will use shorthand to explain these song patterns. The letter V = verse. The letter C = chorus and the letter B = bridge.

The most commonly used song patterns in songs you listen to on the radio are, VCVCBC, VVBV, VVCVBC, or something like that. My song that I will use in this article “Down The Road Of Love” has a VVCVCBC song pattern.

However, the important thing to remember is to create a NEW song pattern INSIDE a conventional song pattern. You do this for originality reasons. You use common song patterns to write good memorable songs, but you should also put your own original spin on that song.

In most cases, the song is about love. You, as a writer, have to create and put your own personal touch on each love song that you are about to write.

I’m sure everyone knows where the all-important title (“Down The Road Of Love”) goes.

The first verse goes like this:

He traveled through life, with the pedal on the ground.

And God knew it was running in “E”.

Then your love feels me, to stop me.

Because heaven wasn’t waiting for me.

Now the second verse says the following:

I was losing my mind, with my body and my soul.

For the devil who wore a smile.

I never saw flashing red lights.

Until your love took me for a ride.

Then the chorus:

Down The Road Of Love, where life unfolds.

All the beauty and the secret that this world keeps.

Down The Road Of Love, where your love is my key.

Making heaven on earth a reality.

Now the third verse:

Now love is running my life, with you at the wheel.

Couldn’t ask for a better guide.

Because I never traveled the right paths in life.

Until your love took me for a ride.

Repeat the chorus:

Bridge:

So I thank you for life and for God above.

For a life I could never have dreamed of.

Repeat the chorus:

Okay, now is the complete song. It has three different music ensembles. The repeating chorus has its own chorus, as well as the short bridge, which closes the song. Those two parts of the song, musically and lyrically, are independent. The three different verses also have the same music in all three verses. You can read each line and see how each line in each verse works together. You can also see how it flows naturally, without forcing notes, syllables, or words. You can also notice the perfect rhyme pattern created in this song, which also flows naturally.

Now this is a crash course on how to write a good song, in the proper and professional way. Of course I can’t mention everything I know about songwriting in an article, but it should give you a good understanding of how to write a song.

I hope everyone takes this knowledge and one day write that hit song that everyone has been dreaming of.
