Medifast Vs Wonderslim Diet – Which Is Better And How Do They Compare?

Trying to decide between Medifast vs Wonderslim? These two diets are very similar, both meal replacement programs with very fast weight loss results.

While Medifast is better known than Wonderslim, both diets have their own unique benefits.

So how do they compare? These are the main differences between them (note that the terms of the diet program are always subject to change).

#1 The Diet

Both diets are based on low-glycemic meal replacements and put your body into a mild fat-burning state. You eat special diet oatmeal meals, shakes, bars, light entrees, and desserts every 2 to 3 hours throughout the day.

Both diets allow you to customize your order package so you can include your favorite foods.

With both diets, you include your own lean protein meal and vegetables. However, Medifast offers frozen lean and green meals that you can purchase separately if you don’t have time to prepare meals yourself. Wonderslim does not have this option.

#2 Online support

While you do get an introductory kit and diet instructions with Wonderslim, you don’t get online support.

In contrast, Medifast offers a wealth of online support, including message boards, forums, recipes, email, and more. You can also call and speak with a Medifast coach if you have questions.

And if you need in-person support, you can visit a Medifast center and speak with a trainer. So that’s a good option if you’re nervous about doing the diet on your own.

#3 Cost

Depending on the plan you choose, Wonderslim may be cheaper (Note: this also depends on current special offers).

For example, Wonderslim’s basic option starts at around $7 a day, but you only get 4 meals a day (vs. 5 with Medifast). And these meals only include shakes, bars, and snacks (no desserts or entrees like with Medifast).

The next plan is about $8 a day and you get 5 meals a day (but again, dinner entrees and desserts aren’t included like they are with Medifast).

The Wonderslim premium plan also gives you light entrees and desserts, similar to Medifast. But that plan starts at around $11 a day, which is about the same as Medifast.

So the cost is very similar when you look at what you’re actually getting – it comes down to what type of plan and meals you want.

#4 Weight Loss Results

Both plans promise very similar weight loss results. Wonderslim dieters typically lose up to 4 pounds per week.

According to Medifast, dieters can expect to lose up to 5 pounds per week for the first 2 weeks, with weight loss leveling off slightly after that.

So what is the end result?

The Medifast and Wonderslim diets are very similar: they both offer vitamin-enriched meal replacements and very rapid weight loss. Both are doctor recommended and approved as well.

The real difference is that you get a lot of online support with Medifast that you don’t get with Wonderslim. Wonderslim is more of a DIY plan. But it’s a bit more flexible (with 3 different plan options) than Medifast.

So it all comes down to what kind of diet you want to do. Whatever you decide, be sure to check with your doctor before starting any diet or weight loss plan. Good luck!
